Visual Notebook charts are more than visual aids – all icons and links contain the infor-mation they represent. Supporting information is well organised and readily available to substantiate your charts during briefings or legal proceedings. Charts can contain documents, pictures, surveillance video and background visuals such as maps.

Graphically chart information as your case progresses to show relationships between suspects, witnesses, vehicles and events.	Visualize sequences of events to compare known facts to witness accounts or case theories.	Powerful search functionality enables you to quickly locate specific case details.

Teamwork & Information Sharing

Visual Notebook enables a team of investigators to work different aspects of a case and merge their findings into one investigative chart to see the big picture. Because Visual Notebook integrates with i2 TextChart, unstructured data from reports and other text-based sources can easily be incorporated.  Charts can be shared electronically with others that do not have Visual Notebook using i2's free Chart Reader software.

If analytical support is required, Visual Notebook charts provide a clear starting point for analysis. An analyst can open a Visual Notebook chart within Analyst’s Notebook, import volumes of case-related data such as phone records and use sophisticated analytical tools to reveal hidden patterns and connections.
