Visual Analysis is proud to now offer clients an intelligence training program for commercial delivery in Australia. The two courses available are from the internationally renowned ANACAPA training program. The program was developed in the 1970's and has formed the international conventions that are still practiced today. It has maintained its relevance through its continued development and capacity to move with the future direction of intelligence.
Visual Analysis has the exclusive rights to deliver the quality intelligence program in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Oceania and Africa. With these new regions being established, ANACAPA Sciences can proudly boast their program is delivered in all continents with the exception of Antarctica. Visual Analysis will be offering the one-week Analytical Investigation Methods (AIM) courses and two-week Criminal Intelligence Analysis (CIA).
Although specifically aimed at intelligence in a criminal context, practitioners from other fields will attain similar benefits from the techniques acquired on the courses. This is achieved through the emphasis on the development of analytical thinking – a skill that is not exclusive to any specific intelligence discipline. These techniques are just as relevant in the commercial realm and would assist intelligence practitioners and analysts operating in:
- Law Enforcement
- Telecommunications
- Finance
- Regulatory
- Compliance
- Insurance
- Investigative
- Military
- Security
Anacapa Sciences Intelligence Training Program
The Anacapa Sciences Intelligence Training Program is articulated with Australian Universities providing intelligence practitioners with a fast track into tertiary studies. Both Charles Sturt University (CSU) and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) provide recognition for the Anacapa Sciences Intelligence Training Program with academic credits applicable to designated programs.
Charles Sturt University (CSU) – The 10 day Criminal Intelligence Analysis (CIA) Course is articulated with Charles Sturt University. Successful completion of the course and a post course assignment provides credit towards the Graduate Certificate (Criminal Intelligence) award at CSU. Students only need to complete two more subjects to complete the Graduate Certificate (Criminal Intelligence).
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) – Both the 10 day Criminal Intelligence Analysis (CIA) and 5 day Analytical Investigation Methods (AIM) Courses are articulated with Queensland University of Technology. Successful completion of either of the courses and a post course assignment provides credit towards the Graduate Certificate in Intelligence, Master of Justice (Policing) or Master of Justice (Intelligence).
This articulation pathway of the Anacapa Sciences Intelligence Training Program into tertiary study was recognized by the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (AIPIO) in November 2007. At the 2007 Hobart Conference, Visual Analysis received the Award for the "Most Notable Contribution to Education and Training" with the Anacapa Sciences Program.
