Prerequisites: It is highly desirable that delegates have completed course AN001 (Analyst’s Notebook Course) prior to attending the course.

The Analyst’s Notebook Advanced Course is designed for experienced users of Analyst’s Notebook and focuses on more complex functionality and advanced analytical techniques. This includes (but is not limited to) learning how to:

• Use Snap Shots to present charts for verbal briefings.
• Use the advanced transformation functions in the Import Specification Wizard.
• Use the Browse Bar and Selection Sets.
• Use the advanced Find Path, Find Linked and Find Cluster analytical functions.
• Create and run Reports.
• Use the Series Import.

Those completing the course will learn the following advanced analytical techniques:

• Behavioural profiling of telephone calls.
• Risk Assessment profiling using Scored Matching and Risk Ratings.
